SolidEdge doesn't pan smoothly

I installed ST3 on my computer and the pan doesn't move smoothly. When I hold the mouse wheel down to pan around the part it's very very jittery, and doesn't look like it will move until I release the mouse wheel and then the part is in a new position. I'm not sure if I need to change a setting on my computer? I have windows XP pro and a 2.8GHz processor with 3GB of Ram so I should have enough hp. The Zoom is smooth. Anyone have a fix for this?

RE: SolidEdge doesn't pan smoothly

Make sure the graphic option is set to "graphics card driven (advanced)" under the View tab in Solid Edge Options which is at the bottom of the Applications button (have a part or something open). You can also set "culling" to max and this will help.

Thanks guys! I tried a different graphics card from a friend and everything is working. Never had this problem with other CAD software. Teebarr, I'll try my old graphics card with the different settings you suggest and see if that works.
