HELLO ANYONE WHO READS THIS,
I'M RUNNING A MAZAK TURBO X-48 1000 WATT LASER. I'VE GOT A JOB LASER CUTTING 3 HOLES THROUGH 1 WALL INTO 112" STAINLESS AND GALVANIZED TUBING.THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T WANT ANY MARKS ON THE INSIDE OF THE TUBE. THE PAST FEW RUNS IVE STUCK .187 THICK HRS BAR ON THE INSIDE TO PREVENT MARKS. AFTER SO LONG, THE TUBES EVENTUALLY BURN THROUGH. I'M WONDERING IF USING BRASS OR ALUMINUM WOULD BE BETTER. ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANK YOU!

What is the diameter of the tube you are cutting? I have used rebar with anti spatter in the past when requested that no bur or slag to left in the tube.

rebar is a cool idea. sucking on the end of the tube w a huge blower also helps, it pulls the spatter down the tube just have a spark arrestor
