Hi,

I am using UG to design a part that will need a knurl or cross hatch pattern cut into it with a 90 degree end mill. The pattern is defined with lines. My problem is that using Profile_3D I have to select each line individually, then select create next boundary, then select the next line. There are too many lines for this process.

If I select the set of lines using "Feauture Curves", all the lines do get selected, but the tool path is junk.

Also tried Fixed_Contour, with drive method as curve/point. This almost works, except that the start of the first and end of the next vector is connected with a cut path, not a retract and engage.

Is there an easy way to select multiple lines that will defines the toolpath explicitly?

Regards,

G.J.
