Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience working with Siemens Transformer Diff Protection? Specifically testing for the slop characteristics? And if so - have you created a spreadsheet? I'm going through the process now and would love to bounce some ideas off some people !

Thanks in advance,

-Ryan

RE: Siemens Transformer Differential protection relay 7UT612 slope 1 and slope 2 pickups.

Hello Ryan

I have recently set one but not formulated a test sheet for it. What exactly do you wish to test? Pickup settings? Slope settings? Harmonic restraint?

I have done test sheets for some other diff relays. The overall objective is the same but the detailed calcs differ as each manufacturer defines it's restraint characteristic slightly differently from the others.

Regards.
