Draftsight Problems

I am using draftsight after having autocad for years prior. Two things don't work that did so in acad: extending a line to a perpendicular line, and the ability to have different dimension decimal places. If I change the dimension format to a different amopunt of places, all of the dimensions update to the new setting. Any draftsight users that found this?
