adding tolerancing to sketch dimensions
adding tolerancing to sketch dimensions
(OP)
My collegues (exSW) want to add tolerances in modelling to the sketches, to reuse this information sketch on the drawing,->feature parameter. I haven't found a way so far - what is the workflow in NX8?
sorry new in NX

Now when you create your Drawing and you've placed your views and you wish to inherit the Sketch dimensions on the Drawing, you go to...
Insert -> Dimension -> Feature Parameters...
...and then you select the Feature and Views that you wish to see the dimensions in. One thing that you need to be aware of is if you wish the style of the Dimensions used in the Sketch to controling the style as seen on the Drawing then while in the 'Features Parameters' dialog, you must toggle On the 'Use Sketch Dimension Style' option at the bottom of the dialog.

RE: adding tolerancing to sketch dimensions
I'm not sure how much shorter that you could make this since that's already down to 3 actions, counting selecting the dimension(s) of interest, which you'd have to do anyway even if there was a single button shortcut, so all you would be saving is ONE interactive 'action'.
