Hubbell Deadend Compression Yoke Assembly found in garage!
(OP)
Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone could be kind enough to help me? During a garage clear-out I managed to find a 'Hubbell Deadened Compression Yoke Assembly' part (see this for more details-http://www.hubbellcatalog.com/hps/datasheet.asp?PN=C4010095&FAM=hot_line_tools#). It looks unused albeit very dusty, and it was in a shipment box. My dad used to work for an engineering company and as far as he can remember he ordered one, which the courier lost and then somehow they found it many weeks later and sent it to us. Since then its just been in the garage for what I think has been more than a decade!
Its quite big and heavy and I am not quite sure what to do with it. Can I sell it, if so where? Or is it a no longer used part, so could I potentially give it in for recycling? Any help would be much appreciated as I literally have no idea where to start.
Many thanks

This website below is for Electricians, they have a "Buy - Sell - Swap" forum where you can list it, but if they perceive you are not an electrician they may bump you. Worth a shot though.

They have another forum dedicated to Linemen, you might try there as well. But generally, the workers themselves would not necessarily buy these tools, it's something that a company would have for a crew.
