Service Pack 5 is available on the SolidWorks websit for people with subscription service.  According to the release notes SP5 has fixed a quite of few quirks that we are having.

I usually go by the rule "if it works don't fix it."  In other words read the maintanance notes and dertermine if SP5 fixes any of the problems that you may be running into.  If not why apply it?

If anybody runs into any quirks that came with SP5 please post them in this forum.  Part of my job is to determine whether or not the software is stable before I can put it into production for our many users.

Good Luck!

If you have not already noticed I think SP5 has been recalled. You can no longer download it from their website.  However SP5.1 is out their.  It looks like SP5 hosed something up with ToolBox.

Nope!  This task would be next to impossible.  Beleave me I have been down that rodd before.  I do not know of any 3D modeler that will allow you to save to a previous version.  I would assume that the code for 2003 alone was rewritten to allow disjoint features.
