Problem Realview - AMD Radeon HD 6900M

(OP)
Hi,

I do have a minor problem with my Solidworks 2011 x64 edition. It seams that i can't turn realview on even tho I have a AMD Radeon HD 6900M grafics card that support realview - accordingly to solidworks.com
Do someone have an idea what's going on and how to fix it please?

/Your best, Robert

RE: Problem Realview - AMD Radeon HD 6900M

Where on the SolidWorks did you find you graphics card to be supported? I believe most, if not all AMD Radeon cards are not supported.

Be sure to checkout this page on the solidworks website: http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/videocardtesting.html

RE: Problem Realview - AMD Radeon HD 6900M

The only graphics cards that are supported are the nVidia Quadro series, the AMD FireGL/FirePro series and the Intel HD P3000/P4000. The Radeon series are gaming cards, not CAD cards.

Agree with jmirisola. Try to get a mobile workstation. That would increase your productivity in the long run.
