HEC-RAS 4.1 / Check-RAS

HEC-RAS 4.1 / Check-RAS

HEC-RAS 4.1 / Check-RAS

(OP)
I'm new to using Check-RAS with HEC-RAS. I finally got Check-RAS set up for the first time and was able to extract data from HEC-RAS for the LOMR project I am working on. When I switch back to HEC-RAS to revise the data in the Geometry Editor pop-up error messages appear on screen.
first one is a RAS pop-up that says error plotting geometric schematic; I ckick OK then the second one appears that says Error Loading Schematic data; I click OK and the final one says: Run time error '339' Component'moLT.oxc'or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file name is missing or invalid. And then the HEC-RAS program shuts down.

I assume the existing geometric data for the project has to be present because I can run the Steady-Flow analysis - No Problem, but I can't edit the geometric data...I can't get in.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

RE: HEC-RAS 4.1 / Check-RAS

I can't speak towards the use of CheckRAS, but when I get the schematic errors, I usually save the project over to a different name and it starts working (most times). Hopefully that may work for you.
