Mirror Feature
Mirror Feature
(OP)
Hi all,
I have attached a prt with a failed mirror feature. I am just curious if I do sth wrong when trying to mirror that feature or is it that the feature conflicts because it consumes the face of the geometry?
Thank you in advance.

I see what you mean. I have had to deal with that in the past and probably will again in the future. I think I'll take your word and stick with approach 1.
Many thanks.

RE: Mirror Feature
as you can see from the image that I attached, it's possible.
Try to add the planar face tangent to the blend.
Three faces selected to mirror.
Why with this extra face the command works, it's your next job...:-)))))[wink]

As for my "next job"; I don't write this stuff, I break it!!!
