hello,

Why we don't have running torque for rack & pinion actuator while the same is applicable for scotch yoke type actuator

RE: hello, Why we don't have running

Details? Please specify!

RE: hello, Why we don't have running

For double acting rack and pinnion the torque output is constant along the stroke.

For spring return/single acting actuators the spring end / air end torques are the least, the 'running torque', that is a torque between start and end, will be greater than their respective end torques.

If you need to consider a run torque, consider the end torque in that direction of travel and you will be covered.
