ASME U1 Manufacturers Data sheet

ASME U1 Manufacturers Data sheet

ASME U1 Manufacturers Data sheet

(OP)
Hello all

I need to find out how to request or obtain any U1 forms filed out for the pressure vessels in our plant.
Would the manufacturer have these?
Does ASME have copies of these and if so how can I get copies?

thanks
Tom

RE: ASME U1 Manufacturers Data sheet

The manufacturer should have copies of the U-1 forms since they would have supplied them originally. How old are the vessels?

Where are you located? Would they have been filed with any government regulatory agencies?

I'm pretty sure ASME does not have copies.

RE: ASME U1 Manufacturers Data sheet

Look for a National Board number on the data plate if you are US or CRN number if you are in CANADA. These two organizations also keep records.

Thanks Guys

The vessels are any where from 15 to 25 years old.
They are in the US.

can any one request copies from the National Board or do you need to be a member of some organization?

Thanks
Tom

RE: ASME U1 Manufacturers Data sheet

henegg,

Anyone can request the files from the National Board (www.nationalboard.org) but there is a fee associated with it. You can also expedite the order, if you so require.
