Removing non-sectioned components from a view.

Removing non-sectioned components from a view.

Removing non-sectioned components from a view.

(OP)
Hello all

One of our users has created a breakout section view on a model and has added some non-sectioned components, however has has accidentally added a component that he wants to be sectioned however now, it seems as though we can't remove the non sectioned status from any of the parts in the view.

I have attached a short video whic shows me trying to remove all of the 10 non-sectioned components from the view, however you will see that when the view is updated, and then edited again, all ten parts are still listed as being non-sectioned.

Anyone know what might cause this?

RE: Removing non-sectioned components from a view.

I am in NX6, Here's what I did:
After toggling on the "section in view" for that component, go into the "break-out section" menu (the same one used to add the view), and toggle "edit" on the top, and then follow the instructions as if its a new view . . just basically reselect everything.
The problem with mine is that the part got cut, but the hatching didn't show, but that may be to a bad setting someplace.
