How to generate bonds between fibers during analysis? Idea?

(OP)
Hi,

Aim is form a fiber network by pressing unconnected fibers to continuous network.
Contact interactions (frictions, damping etc.)between fibers during pressing is quite easy to handle by using "general contact"-tool.
However, I have a problem; How to generate mechanical bonds or ties between surfaces or elements when surfaces are enough close to form a bond between them.

Thank you for all answers!

Does "sticking contact" not do what you need?
