Simulate effects on acoustic wave due to pdms

Simulate effects on acoustic wave due to pdms

(OP)
Hello,

I am trying to simulate the effect of surface acoustic wave on pdms material. I have modelled the pdms material as a plane42 element type, with the following material properties (ansys format in um units):
MP,PRXY,4,0.499
MP,DENS,4,965E-18
MP,EX,4,870E-3

after simulating the structure, unfortunately I find that the acoustic wave is not getting dampened after passing through the pdms layer. Can anyone please help me know why this issue happens? Is it a problem in the modelling of the pdms material (incompressible: poissons ratio =0.5)

Thanks in advance!
