SE Exam Review Course - School of PE

SE Exam Review Course - School of PE

(OP)
I'm looking for a good review course for the new 16 hour SE exam. It looks like the options are still pretty limited. So far I've found a Kaplan course (28 hrs) and a School of PE course (120 hrs), the only feedback I've come across said they were both decent and Kaplan generally received more positive comments.

It looks like the School of PE course has been updated recently and how as 120 hours of content if you take the vertical and lateral components. Can anyone comment on their course in its new format or recommend anything else?

Thanks for the help.

RE: SE Exam Review Course - School of PE

I used the School of PE for the civil/structural and it was really helpful. I can say that the Kaplan course seems super short to me. My civil/structural was about 6 weekends of Sat and Sun, all day review. I did it online.

Good luck!

RE: SE Exam Review Course - School of PE

My personal opinion is don't waste your time and money. However this is only based on my personal studying abilities and reviews I've heard of the various review courses out there for the SE test.

Also, I'd seriously consider taking 1/2 of the SE test one year and the other half the next year. That's what I'm going to do.

Maine EIT, Civil/Structural. Going to take the 1st part of the 16-hour SE test in October, wish me luck!
