Create different bodies with Design Modeller

Create different bodies with Design Modeller

Create different bodies with Design Modeller

(OP)
Hi there,

I want to create a simple geometry with the Design Modeller for an axisymmetric analysis.

I create different sketches, then surfaces from each sketch.

The problem is in the end I only get one body (and one part), so I can't give different properties to each surface.

Does anyone know how to separate them?

Thank you
regards,
David

RE: Create different bodies with Design Modeller

David,

You might try:
After creating first surface from sketch, use the freeze button to avoid next surface being merged to the first one.

Hi there,

I add the surface as frozen (and not add material) and it works

thank you!
