Electronic height gages

(OP)
Has anyone had any experience with Sarrett Altissimo, Mitutoyo QM, and the Trimos V+ electronic height gages? What are the pro's/ con's, user friendly? etc.
Any input would be appreciated.

RE: Electronic height gages

Only the Starrett Altissimo.
If in a factory environment, keep it clean and replace the battery often. Otherwise it works great.
I suggest one taller than what you need, it may be worth it some day.

RE: Electronic height gages

This is not the best forum to ask the question. This place is dealing with drafting standards.
Nevertheless, from my experience on the shop floor, if it is "digital vs. analogue" question, I wouldn’t want it any other way, but digital.
If you only interested in picking thr right brand, I was using Starret.
Still, I could be measuring different things different way from how you intend to use the gauge.
So, you will be better off asking Manufacturing / Quality Control people.
Good Luck!

RE: Electronic height gages

CheckerHater is correct on this one. This is the wrong forum. Go to the forum http://elsmar.com/Forums/index.php which is a Quality forum and ask that question.
