Forces on a Hydrographic Survey Pole Design

Forces on a Hydrographic Survey Pole Design

(OP)

I'm trying to create an Excel Sheet for easy design calculations of poles used in hydrographic surveys.

I want to trap all the possible forces that the pole may experience and make it user friendly as well.

I have drag force due of water, drag force due of air, force on the face of the pole, drag force on equipment.

Based on this I'm calculating a design stress. I'll upload the excel sheet and advice/input would be greatly appreciated.
