Cannot insert an assembly into another assembly

Cannot insert an assembly into another assembly

Cannot insert an assembly into another assembly

When I try to insert one assembly into another assembly I get error message "You cannot insert a document template into another document". It works well with oter assemblies, but not with that one. Any idea what the problem is?

RE: Cannot insert an assembly into another assembly

.asmdot is an Assembly template file. Just like microsucks has has .dot Document Templates. make sure it's a true .sldasm you can save a template as a regular assembly.

Or quite possibly you haven't saved it a new Assembly remains a Template type file until saved I believe

Interesting thing. It had correct assembly extention .SLDASM. I saved that file under same exactly name, and it fixed the problem.
Thank you,
Boris.
