Couple DOF`s for node region in Abaqus

[Couple DOFs] - very useful function in ANSYS allowing to union displacement in one or severeal directions for selected nodes. It is often used to simulate pressure or linear load, attaching concentrated load to one of the coupled nodes.

I haven`t found the way to do similar task in ABAQUS. I tried several ways of Coupling nodes as well as making rigid connections between nodes. I would very grateful if someone could help !

I made simple verification example, with thin cantilivered beam, where I tried to add concentrated load to coupled end nodes to acquire linear load ditribution along beam end edge. Unfortunately not succesefully - load distribution is not uniform :(

RE: Couple DOF`s for node region in Abaqus

Try using an Equation constraint for this...

Thanks, MechIrl. That realy works. For other users I attached constraint window picture.

The only thing I don`t understand - why is needed second row with only one node in set ?
