Spreadsheet for Seismic analysis

Spreadsheet for Seismic analysis

Spreadsheet for Seismic analysis

(OP)
Hello,

I am looking for a spreadsheet for seismic analysis per ASCE 07. I appreciate any help

RE: Spreadsheet for Seismic analysis

Which ASCE 07? Do you need 07-02, 07-05 or 07-10? Or do you need some earlier version of ASCE 07?

At www.steeltools.org/home/files you can find some spreadheets for seismic by ASCE 07 and/or IBC (various) by Alex Tomanovich that might be helpful.

RE: Spreadsheet for Seismic analysis

adfo,

An angineer by the name of Alex Tomanovich produces many excellent spreadsheets for structural calculations. Many are available at the AISC website SteelTools.

http://www.steeltools.org/Home/

There is a recent posting there for one of Alex's spreadsheets that covers IBC 2009 seismic. The 2009 IBC paralells ASCE 7-05. Although I have not tried this particuilar spreadsheet, I have used Alex's spreadsheet for IBC 2006 seismic. It is a top-tier worksheet.

membership at the SteelTools website is free.
