NX7.5 Lock toolbars in place?

NX7.5 Lock toolbars in place?

NX7.5 Lock toolbars in place?

(OP)
I've done a search on this for when I was using NX6, and couldn't find any information. Now that I've switched to NX7.5, I figured I'd ask again.

I have a problem that I often drag and move my toolbars around on accident when I'm trying to click on an icon. This is annoying, because as I'm sure you all know, it's nice to have buttons located in the same place every time. Is there any way to lock the toolbars in place?

RE: NX7.5 Lock toolbars in place?

Set you toolbars as you wish.

Check the option preferences>user interface>save layout on exit.

Exit NX

Start NX again

Goto the same option and uncheck it.

Now everytime you open NX you will get the toolbars in original place.

NX 7.5.3.3

Thanks for the reply, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for. The problem is not that the toolbars aren't saved to their location, it's that I can easily move them around on accident after I've set them.

RE: NX7.5 Lock toolbars in place?

Yes, it would be nice to "lock" them in place. It does not look like that is possible.
