Solid Edge ST4 Display problem

Solid Edge ST4 Display problem

Solid Edge ST4 Display problem

(OP)
Hi,
New to forum. I have just installed solid edge ST4 on windows 7,
as a TOTAL beginner, i am trying the tutorials.
The problem is i cannot see the coordinates (axis), only shows the x,y,z text.
Also unable to see any 3D geometry.
But when i hover over in pathfinder, the part does highlight in the window.
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

RE: Solid Edge ST4 Display problem

At the top of the Pathfinder, at the filename, make a RMB click. Scroll down to where you see "Show All" flyout. At the bottom of that list is "Design Body". Left click that one and it should restore your geometry. You can select the other referenced items here, also.

RE: Solid Edge ST4 Display problem

What graphics card and driver version are you using? You can find certified cards and driver versions here:http://support.industrysoftware.automation.siemens.com/online_library/certification/index.php?page=10&p=pP&v1=7&v2=00322&status=ics&show=Show+Certifications

Consumer level cards like the Radeon and GeForce are not recommended, and Radeon has typically been the worse one.

VABiker - tried your suggestion but to no avail, may be its the graphics card and the driver as suggested by PellaKen.

Pellaken - Sorry but where can i find what driver and graphics card is installed on my laptop, so i can check with your suggestion.
