Datum target question

Datum target question

Datum target question

(OP)
I'm trying to define Datum A as the top of a bunch of ribs I am describing it by puting a crosshatch on the top of all the ribs that combine to make the datum and using a datum target with the note "all hatched surfaces" underneath pointing to the hatched surfaces. The problem is I can't find a way to remove the "1" form the "A1" on the datum target symbol. Is there a way to edit/override this?

RE: Datum target question

It doesn't look like there is a way to do that.
Instead of using a "datum target" for that you can use an "ID symbol", with a divided circle, and the text added manually.
