Ansys Autodyn Boundary

Ansys Autodyn Boundary

(OP)

Hi

I currently using Ansys 13 Autodyn to simulate some explosives, actually I tried to replace the pressure and velocity conditions generate from a charge of TNT with a boundary condition that depends of the time (Boundaries- New - type: Stress, Sub option: User Time-Dependant Stress - select File), whatever, I can't import any .uhs data file extension (I created this files with Autodyn saving the information from the TNT history data)that requires this boundary condition because the software indicate "Problem reading file" but I don’t have more information about this mistake or how to fix it.

I Appreciate your help, I attach a Impr Pant.

RE: Ansys Autodyn Boundary

The .uhs file is a text file that is intended to be used for post processing in excel or other programs, not for importing boundary conditions.
You may want to use a 1D wedge to generate a spherical blast wave from an explosive then use the data file created to import into a 2D or 3D simulation. For more information look in the documentation (that is part of the installation) for "Remap".
