Hello,

I have a doubt about the material X46Cr13 and its standard EN 10088-3.
If you check the standard 10088-3, you will see in some pages that you can perform +QT800 to the material X46Cr13. In other pages it is written +QT850 instead of +QT800. Do you know what is valid? Tha values of resistance and so on are OK? I would say the good one is +QT850, but I am not sure.
Can you help me with that please??

Thanks and regards,

The EN10088-3 2005 which I have shows X46Cr13 mechanical properties for either annealed -A or QT800.

Yes, I also have the same version of the standard but the problem is that you can find different values in different pages. For example:
- Page 25: you can find +QT800, but the value of tensile strength is 850-1000 MPa. (Should start at 800 MPa instead of 850??).
- Page 31: You can find +QT850. With values 850-1000 MPa.
- Page 45: You can find +QT850 as well.

For that reason, I would say that the correct values is the one of +QT850, and what you can find in page 25 is just a typing mistake of the standard. What do you think?

Thanks and regards,
