I have some work on shunt reactors
i know it is used Because of rise of voltage,
i need to know where use it specifically ?
how much miles to use it with head line ? , and how much MVAr need?
for capacitive rise the same questions ?

i need rule for how mutch i need reactor with ultra voltage and EHV .

You have to do studies of power system : energization of unload transmission line by EMTP , and/or power flow to control reactives

first thank you,
actully I do study it , but the study give general idea only sad like :
1- feranti effect it cuse cause rise of voltage for line longer than (150) miles .
2- capacitive rise .
3- use reactor on line , and it is Possible on busbar.

but how to do calculation for it ???
like you have a system 380 KV a long distance it is coming to substaction
here shunt reactor is needed as general , but how match MVAr you need by calculation ???

this is something did not find in books sad !!!

If you need Xr ohms of shunt reactor to reduce Ferranti effect
so you need a shunt reactor of 380*380/Xr MVAr.
Power system analysis - Hadi Saadat 5.9.1 line compensation-shunt reactors.

Ferrant effect is a temporary overvoltage.You need also to study switching surge voltage by EMTP or ATP during line energization.
