HTRI and HTFS ( Any major differences..?)

HTRI and HTFS ( Any major differences..?)

(OP)

All,

I've been using HTRI - Aspen EDR for designing heat exchangers (effiectively..).. without issues for a while..within my company there is an effort underway to evaluate HTRI..

as best as i can tell i dont see any differences in what the packages are capable off.. and differences in physical property accuracy would more than make up for a difference in the package..

but i've heard it said that " experts user HTRI" .. but when i've purchased exchangers our vendors use HTFS..

so i'd like to see what others think..
