What is the content of the aluminum sulfate?

Incineration is good method for aluminum sulfate disposal
RE: Disposal of Aluminium sulfate - Solid waste
Aluminum sulfate is a chemical conditioning agent in the water and wastewater treatment industry. If the aluminum sulfate does not contain any objectional materials, it may be possible to recycle the aluminum sulfate at a wastewater treatment plant. For example, aluminum sulfate is used for phosphorus material and is quite expensive.
Not familiar with incineration of aluminum sulfate. Since it is an inorganic material, I don't see any benefit to incineration.

In wastewater treatment alum is used to bind up the phosphorus. The floc is settled out in the final settling tanks.
The advantage of using alum is that it is no where near as corrosive as ferrous or ferric chloride and is as such much easier to handle. Alum is however more expensive than the iron salts.
