Hi!

I need some information about interconnected suspensions o balanced suspensions... do you know where can I find something???

Thanks!

RE: I need some suspension systems information...

I believe you are referring to: Erik Zapetal’s “Balanced Suspension" concept. This system de-couples the 4 vehicle suspension modes passively. His SAE Technical Paper 2000-01-3572, available from:

www.sae.org/servlets/productDetail?PROD_TYP=PAPER&PROD_CD=2000-01-3572

I could not find much of relevance from searches on www.google.com. Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Matthew Ian Loew

Alex Moulton demonstrated a couple of Minis, one with for-aft coupling and one with lateral coupling of the hydromounts. Also Gates (air springs) have occasionally suggested a passive cross linked system.

Here are some people working on a commercial version: www.kinetic.au.com

Search for "DAX" and see what you get.
