cres 300 series for stampings

(OP)
Need to stamp a cres bracket.  Currently, plan is to use Cres 301 and material thickness is ~.030". Bracket will circle approx 200 degrees and cradle a ~1"od x 1" thick slug. SLUG will have a groove machined partially about its diameter midway across its thickness. A dimpled feature of the STAMPED BRACKET will ride in said groove.  Bracket will have lateral supports turned up that will ride ~5/32" up and against the sides (i.e "thickness") of the SLUG.  Finally, bracket will need to be stiff enough to keep a "drag on the SLUG while it partially rotated within bracket. End of bracket will change directions away from the diameter of the SLUG effecively creating a tab that one could push with the thumb; this to drecrease the drag on the slug when rotating. THis feature is reasonably stiff (for thumb pressure) and will require moderate spring action.
Now, what other (300 series) alloys might be suitable alternatives to Cres 301?  (Cres 302/304 /316?) and what should we consider when choosing.?  (No welding is required.) Thanks in advance.

RE: cres 300 series for stampings

From the information provided, any 300 series alloy would work. To reduce the list, you need to provide more information about the requirements (forces, stresses, environment, quantities, etc.).
