NFPA 25 Inspections

NFPA 25 Inspections

NFPA 25 Inspections

(OP)
We are a Fire Sprinkler Company in San Diego, CA that has been in business since the late 80s. This post is actually directed at Lightecho but since I cant seem to PM you or anything, I am settling for this. We are an installation company that has a service division. I have came into my position and see a need to upgrade the level of service and professionalism in our inspections division. I saw a post from lightecho discussing the uses of Xcel to help track and organize inspections. I am trying to do the same thing. The purpose of this isn't to make inspections less work, but to make our inspections process better, and decrease the amount of paper work it takes to generate one report. Do you have any advice? Would you be willing to share any secrets with me?
Thank you
Owen

I have looked into software programs but from the information I have gathered, they are not worth the time. I am going to find some sort of way to make this work better. In a few years do I need need inspectors? I don't understand the question. Who knows what will happen, but if I can do what I anticipate, it is a possibility.

Hi Curtis

I'm not sure about PMs either nor the policy on leaving one's e-mail on these threads but you can find my contact information here: www.ykfireprevention.ca It's a rusty old website that we've been in the process of redoing for some time now. You can find my contact information there. I'd be glad to help and exchange information. Always interesting in meeting people and learning new things.
