Small, fast and light weight???
Small, fast and light weight???
(OP)
I have a small, but complicated project, I need to place a concrete type product over an (e) concrete slab. The pour will be 10'x20' at about 3" deep in the middle and feather to edge in the short directions. Couple of conditions;
- The pour will have to be quick-set, the faster the better.. Ideal an hour to set to accept foot traffic.
- Must be resistant to cracking
- Must be a light weight product
Thanks in advance for the advice. Open to any and all product/alternate types.

It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all.

I should maybe shed some additional detail. This is an older building (1960'), this material is to transition one area to another. The (e) slab is not on grade, but the second level, and a 6" slab, with rebar each way, in pans that span around 20'. I think the design live load was around 100psf.
Ideally, I'd like someone to point me to a mix, or recommend a couple of compatible add mixtures for the right set. Its a very busy commercial space, so we have to be in and our at night, in a 5hr window.
The finish slab will have a carpet over it, super tight finishing is not to critical.
