copy protection and installer wizard for visual basic program

I have a friend helping me with a VB application.  We are stuck at getting an installer routine for the program and some sort of copy protection.  The program was created from an excel spreadsheet.  We intend to sell it and need professional installer and copy protection suggestions.  Thanks.

Google " .xls to .exe converter ".  There's several available, some free.  That's the best way to protect your spreadsheet.  You can specify sevaral ways to protect it.  Most have to do with the software expiring and a new "key" being issued.  Let us know how it works out!

Good luck,
Latexman

Thee are "installer" and "licensing" programs which can be incorporated into your software fairly easily.   Check out "Component Source" - I think.  They have a number of these apps and are fairly cheap.

Thanks for the responses. I will look at "Componenet Source", mindvision and oreans.  How about a copy protection software?

Same place...  But if it is a "Windows" install with all the registry updates and dlls - only GOD could copy it.  Though it can be done - very few people could pull it off...
