ABB Unitrol 1000 Alarm - SYSTEM HALTED!

ABB Unitrol 1000 Alarm - SYSTEM HALTED!

(OP)
Sirs,

Just yesterday, May 4, 2012, while I was scrolling our AVR Unitrol 1000-15, the LCD displayed "System Halted."

Thingking it needs little time to recuperate, I opted to wait till this morning before I press ESCAPE botton... but to no avail.

As per manual, we can do 2 things: (1) attempt to reset unit by temporary removal of Aux Supply or (2) send to ABB (big problem... for me).

My question is this:
Is it possible to switch off the unit momentarily then switch on WITHOUT affecting normal plant operation? (to assume auto excitation control)

Any input will be appreciated greatly. Thnak you in advance.

Sirs,

Correction. I meant Yesterday to be May 3, 2012 (Philippines)

Sorry...

Get a hold of Georges Vangelatos from ABB Canada. He is a Unitrol specialist. He might answer your question. Also, Rosa Vargas may help out too, she is a Group Leader at ABB.
