When I try to position thread holes to a big subplate to match couterbores from parts attached to it, takes a lot of time as computer is writing to hard drive information for ich hole. Any help...

RE: st3 hole position

What is your computer spec. ?
Is this in a single part or are you working in a big assembly?

It sounds like you don't have enough memory in the computer and its using the hard disc virtual memory, hence the disc activity.

It is a big assembly but if I try to do it in part it has no difference. It might be something with live rules. Even if I suspend live rules takes long time to add the hole or move something. can I turn live rules off.

RE: st3 hole position

Sorry, I never used sync mode so I've no idea what it could be, but post your computer spec just in case.

RE: st3 hole position

Sorry for the delay in replying - been really busy.
Your computer spec sound OK although I'm not sure about using a GeForce graphics card.
This isn't a card preferred for CAD so it could make a difference.
Other than that I can't really help.
Sorry.
