How to check and change elements orientation in Hypermesh

How to check and change elements orientation in Hypermesh

(OP)
Hi to all,

I am just trying to check and change elements orientation (SHELL elements) in Hypermesh to align all the elements in the same direction, and I am not able to find how. I can find how to change normals and also how to change material orientations (material orientations doesn´t match with elements orientation). Does anybody know how to do it?

Regards,

RE: How to check and change elements orientation in Hypermesh

I am 97.385% sure this is mentioned in the help.

I think it is called check normals.

Since it is 8 of your earth years since I used hypermesh I can't remember exactly.

Cheers

Greg Locock

Hi Greg thanks for your answer.
Well to check the normals I know how to do it, what I am trying to display and change is the X and Y axis of the elements and to align all in the same direction, in PATRAN is easy to do it but in Hypermesh I can´t find how to do it
