Oil properties in setup of CFX

(OP)
Hi

i am carrying out CFD analysis on a valve and i would like to use a material of OIL as the fluid body. i have already carried out simulations with water and air, can anyone tell me were i can find the properties of oil (ie density 918kg/m³) in the materials library as at the moment this has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks in advance

RE: Oil properties in setup of CFX

Not sure how to answer this one.  For instance, what kind of oil are you proposing to use?  Car engine oil is the obvious answer, and if so, go to one of the manufacturer's websites and you will get all the technical info, viscosity, density, etc. you can handle.  Good luck.
