Hello all, please pardon the very basic nature of this post.
I'm looking for a good resource for reading the different types of damper dyno graphs (and it seems the number of these graphs is increasing in type).
I've been told that the standard force vs. velocity chart is fairly useless, as it only shows a force at peak velocity, and does little to show what happens in the fine details. I would think that knowing the slope of the graph in between those force peaks would be worth looking at....
Any help anyone can provide (gt2racer6?) would be greatly appreciated. I'm starting at just about zero. I do have RCVD, and a copy of Dixon's shock book is on the way.
It's a confusing topic for a newbie, as there are different damper designs that must achieve different things too.
Thanks for any help!
