Coil breaks

Coil breaks

Coil breaks

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I'm in charge of 2 pickling lines in belgium, and one of our product failure is the coil breaks. We have anti-coil break rolls, and I want to calculate the pressure to use for reduce the problem.

I don't know if someone have documents concerning coil breaks. I googled it, but I found (almost) nothing.

Thanks for helping me if you can.

Regards

Samuel

RE: Coil breaks

Do you have access to any references like ASM HANDBOOKS, The Making, Shaping, and Treating of Steel, or similar technical books?  You won't find much information in a general Google search.  Instead, try Google Scholar and Google Books, which will restrict the search to technical books, scientific journal articles, etc.
