hi
when I use hole command, how can I get measure?

RE: nx hole

It's not clear exactly what it is that you're asking?

Could you be a little more specific as to what it is that you're attempting to do?

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

RE: nx hole

Under Depth in the Form and Dimensions area of the Menu you can access Measure. You can actually access it via Diameter,Depth and Tip Angle. Hope this helps.

RE: nx hole

You can also click on "Information" next "Object" and than click on hole and You will get all measure precisely

Hi
I use nx3.How can I change the color of body ?
Tnx for answers

RE: nx hole

Well that explains the problem all right.

You're using a verion of NX which has NOT been supported in years.  Besides, we completely replaced the old 'Hole' function in NX 5.0 with a new function because, among other things, it did not use the 'Design Logic' functionality which allows you to perform something like a measure while you're still in the hole function and then link the results to the parameter of the hole, in your case, the depth.  Our advice is to upgrade to the latest version of NX ASAP.

Bullthot:
Can you detail your answer:

"You can also click on "Information" next "Object" and than click on hole and You will get all measure precisely"

What are the steps in using:"Information", next "Object" ?
How could I get to these steps?

Thanks

RE: nx hole

Information is the not the same as 'Measure', at least NOT if you're using the term 'Measure' in the context of what we call 'Design Logic' where we allow you to define not only parameters of a feature during creation, but by allowing you access to the expression system to create complex forumlas, associative measurements of other aspects of your model, the expressions used in other features, the user is able to define his desired 'Design Intent' by adding these relationships while you're actually creating or editing a feature.  This is what we call 'Design Logic' and it has been a key characteristic of NX for many years.
