editing reuse library component to a different type - NX 7.5

editing reuse library component to a different type - NX 7.5

(OP)
Is there a way to replace a re-use library component to a different type of reuse component type and still have the edit reuse component options? Meaning completely switching from lets say a set screw to a socket head cap screw? When I try replace component, I have to know the specific part number (loosing the re-use library capabilities of being able to select from size) and when I use edit reuse component I can only stay within the same type of part and fan only switch the size. I realize that krx file works with the family table within that specific part file but it would be nice to easily switch types of reuse components. The only way I found to work was to completely remove the component(s) and then add the new reuse part so that I can easily swap sizes while still in the preliminary stages. Not that its that bad but it just seems there should be a way to do it.

Hi,
only with replace component.
I suggest you to contact GTAC and add an ER (Enhancement Request).

Thank you...
