shell edge loads

shell edge loads

(OP)
I'm applying a shell edge load on a hollow cylinder in the RIKS step, so I can see the postbuckling load/displacement curve.

However I can't seem to be able to find the shell edge load in history output request or when I try to do an X-Y plot on the results, displacement is there no problem for my prescribed nodes.

Any ideas, much appreciated, there isn't much in the documentation for this....

RE: shell edge loads

Add a reference point at the place where you are going to measure the load (say at the middle of the edge).
