"Face Failed Checks" during Sewing Sheet Bodies

"Face Failed Checks" during Sewing Sheet Bodies

When trying to sew two sheet bodies I get this error message. What do you think is the problem, and how can I fix it?

Thanks

RE: "Face Failed Checks" during Sewing Sheet Bodies

Go to...

Analysis -> Examine Geometry...

...and toggle all the options ON and do a 'Select All' and press MB2.  You can ignore items like 'Sheet Boundaries', but pay attention 'Self-Intersection' and 'Consistency' in particular.

It passes the consistency test, and for self-intersection I get "No Results". Same for other categories.

Sounds like it's time to call GTAC and have them look at the file.  They have tools which will dig deeper into the "ones & zeros" to see what might the issue be with your model.

Is this a native NX file, or imported geometry?

Imported from IDEAS.
