Open Drawing-Top Tag Line Has "(Modified)"?

Open Drawing-Top Tag Line Has "(Modified)"?

NX7.5 on Dell Windows XP 64 bit workstation.

What does it mean when I open a previously opened and saved assembly and the top bar part number information ends with "(Modified)"?

I.E.: NX 7.5 - Drafting - [AGE17492_99167/--DRIVER (specification: DWG_AGE17472_99167/-) (Modified)]

I have already saved all the parts and assembly model previously and then closed the part out. The above happens everytime I, or anyone else, open the Specification file or the Model file.

RE: Open Drawing-Top Tag Line Has "(Modified)"?

There are some situations which will cause that 'tag' to appear even when technically nothing has changed.  There is a project in the next full release of NX which will resolve many of these issues so that in the future you will be able to have more confidence that when you see that 'tag' it will actually mean that there really is something out-of-date in your assembly/drawing structure.

Thanks John,

I knew the parts were still good because I was the only user that had opened them. I was just wondering if I had done something incorrectly possibly with my Load Options or something else.

Thanks again for shedding some light on what is occurring.
