Steam Nozzle/orifice flow calculations
Steam Nozzle/orifice flow calculations
(OP)
Hi,
I'm trying to find a way to calculate the flow through some steam nozzles. I know the temperature, pressure and flow rate available in the supply and I need to calculate the same for flow through a simple blank cap that has had three holes drilled in it. The cap is flowing directly to the atmosphere and there are 5 of these on the line.
Been searching for this for ages and had no joy. Though I would give here a try as I have found useful answers on here a few times in the past!
Thanks in advance.

Q=Y*C*A*sqr(2*g*deltaP/density)
Y and C can be found at A-21 and A-20, respectively.
