Isolated Ground for OLC

Isolated Ground for OLC

What should be the correct way to ground a PLC Panel? Is it necessary to instal an isolation transformer for the grounding of the PLC panel?

Or can we bring a ground conductor (isolated ground) directly from the 120V distribution Panel and connect it to the ground bus of the PLC panle; and then bring one more ground conductor (isolated ground) directly from the ground bus of the 120V distribution panel and connect it to the body of the PLC panel?

In the title, I meant to say "Isolated Ground for PLC"

What did the OEM tell you? From what I understand, you must conform with OEM specifications in order not to void warranties, if any. Please read the installation manuals first.
