CSA and 125% Cable rating

CSA and 125% Cable rating

CSA and 125% Cable rating

(OP)
We are working on a design project in Canada and part of it is to specify medium voltage cables. We are told that all cables must be rated to 125% of full load current of transformers. CYME simulation shows that cable ratings are OK; however this has created confusion as whether we must follow 125% factor or 110 or 120% are also acceptable?

Thanks for comments.

RE: CSA and 125% Cable rating

If the spec is 125% then 125% is your number.
